At the heart of Thompson Studios is multi award-winning photographer, Bob Thompson. From the moment he witnessed a vision come to life in his father’s dark room at the age of five, Bob has looked at the world through the eye of a lens. Bob’s philosophy of photography is simple: “When I’m photographing people, my mission is to capture their pure essence, that extra spark that doesn’t happen by merely telling someone to smile. When people are relaxed and having fun it shows in the final image. I get people relaxed by having a great time myself, because hey, this is fun!”
